Our Guest Designer for September is
KAREN CURD
Karen says:
"Hi, I'm Karen and I have been married to Paul for 25 years and have two
wonderful sons, 21
and 19 years of age. I have been crafting for about 5
years and love that you do not have to be able to draw a thing to be
able to make beautiful cards and do scrapbook layouts. It is an
extremely good job as I can't draw to save my life!I could not say I prefer doing cards or scrapbooking more as I vary between the two. I do tend to do more scrapbooking when I attend crops and more cards at home - and in all honesty, this is because my desk is usually too messy to get a piece of 12 x 12 on it to do a layout! This is much to my husband's dismay, who on one occasion decided he would tidy my craft area for me. I will never ever allow him to do so again, it was a bad bad move! Some things have still never been found!
I run two crops a month in the Ipswich area of Suffolk, one with a card class on a Saturday and a weekday crop where the focus is more on scrapbooking. I do this as a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and absolutely love it. It is fabulous making new friends with loads in common. We share tips and tools and laugh so much we sometimes don't actually do much crafting, oops!
Karen"
