V is for Vine

The page for this month's scraplift challenge was created by Liberty Chance, see here for her blog 'A Lifetime of Chances'.

Here are a few words from Liberty:
"I am married and have three children, who are the main focus of my scrapbooking. My sister introduced me to scrapbooking about five years ago and until that point I'd never heard of it! I was instantly hooked and since then of course my life has been taken over with taking photos, searching for and buying pretty papers, and staying up late producing layouts! I have been designing for Scrapbook Magazine since 2008, and have taught at local retreats. I run a friendly crop in Worcestershire, and through this have made some wonderful friends. Since discovering scrapbooking I can honestly say my life is fuller, and I am a happier (and poorer!) person. I definitely have a style, although I couldn't say what my "style" is!"

This is the sketch for the month of May:

Inspiration from the Design Team:

Jill decorated this prety wooden bird house, and everything needed to make this project is available from her shop - Cardinal Colours.

  2. Why not try having a go at making your own vine Sarah, that is what we have all done on our layouts. We used this brilliant link here from Gabrielle P's blog
    http://gabriellepollacco.blogspot.com/2011/01/video-tutorial-how-to-make-floral-vines.html

Look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with this month.

  3. Liberty said: "wow I am so impressed with your scraplifts! I used an expensive Prima vine on my LO, but you could use a crystal swirl and add little flowers, or even a stamped image with 3d embellishments instead. Thanks for featuring my LO!"

Sorry Liberty, I pressed the wrong button when trying to publish your comment. Lucky I still had the email notification!
Please feel free to comment again!
