Your Scraplifts for August

The original post for August is getting so very long I decided to move the entries for the month to a special post of their own.
See here if you have not seen the original post, or to take you back there.
.
A reminder of what to do if you are joining in:
Please join in the fun and create a layout using these pages for inspiration. We hope you will let us share your finished layout on this blog. You also need to become a follower of this blog to be considered for the competition.

Don't forget there is a prize on offer for the best layout to be selected by Anita in September. Please see here for details of the prize.

Please uploaded your layout to your blog. If you don't have a blog - no problem just drop us an image attached to an email.
(If you don't have Outlook, simply copy and paste the email address into your normal web based email system.)

In order that the layouts have been sent to us:

Here is the first scraplift from Jill of Cardinal Colours
I love the colours and the way you made these into flowers with petals.

Here is a clever record of growing up by Kathy of kathyjscrapping - thanks for joining us Kathy. A lovely way to record such milestones in a child's life. Kathy said "Well I was not going to scrap tonight until I looked at this site my scraplift is on my blog. Thanks for the insperation!"

LindaC Great idea to have the title going round each flower aperture.

Here is an entry from Sarah (Scrappy-Sarah) Her blog is Sarah's Scrapbook. What a great idea to use just cardstock. Lovely layout and you captured the carefree feeling you were after very well. Sarah said "I have had my Eureka moment today!!! Here is my layout :)"

This looks good fun Glynis, The placing of the letters fits with the activity in the photos perfectly.

Donna sent in this lovely version of the layout, looks like your children are having a lot of fun there. I like the way your apertures have some many more points, and I do love all those circles.
Donna said "This is my layout I made after finding a link to your fab blog. Thanks so much for the inspiration I really enjoyed this month and I can't wait to see what you will be doing in September."

Kim sent this cool layout, I just love the colours in this and the girl in the photos looks like she was having great fun. Kim said "My attempt is on my blog now. I really loved this challenge and look forward to following your lovely blog."

KathyG, Love all the bling you have added to make this really sparkle.

Sharon (who google have decided to call Rosie!) This is such a lovely colourful Halloween layout.
Sharon said: "As soon as I saw the challenge I knew exactly which photo I was going to use, I really enjoyed this and its one of my favourites. Thank you looking forward to the next challenge."

SharonO. The layering on this layout really stands out. Brooke and her Mum will be really pleased with this.

Sy, What a clever idea to use the content sheet from the Basic Grey collection pack to give you lots of small pieces to play with. Sy said  "Hi Scrapology! I'm bogged weeks in advance at the mo, so I'm e-mailing my entry.  Apertures are perfect for Polaroids as they can't be cut. Here's one I made earlier, with scraps of Basic Grey. Some of these scraps are off the cover sheet of the collection pack"
Good point about the Polaroids.

Jo sent in this cute layout, the first to have a layout of a different size. Love your tiny petals Jo.

Sharon O, made a second layout using in different papers and colours to the first, this time for Ethan. Great to see you got your mojo back Sharon.

Karen has created this pretty pink girly page. Love he little butterflies, you can see them in more detail on Karen's blog.

This pretty layout is from Susiescrapper, Love the shape of the apertures on this layout, and the colours are lovely. Sue said "Thanks for a lovely challenge, I really enjoyed making this Lo, never having done apertures before it was quite a challenge, it took me 3 goes to get it right… good job I practiced on scrap paper first. I’m looking forward to September’s challenge. Keep up the marvelous work please."

Great autumn colours Lizzie. Love the different apertures you have made.
